Super 8 Wedding Films

Shot on real Super 8 cartridges, not a filter — grain, light leaks and all. We run it alongside our digital coverage on the day, so you get the crisp highlight film and a few minutes of something that already feels like a memory.

Three minutes a roll

A cartridge runs about three minutes and there is no playback, so we shoot it for the moments we already know are coming.

We scan the whole gate

Most transfers crop the picture to a clean rectangle. We keep the frame line, the perforation edge and the halation — that is the evidence it was shot on film.

How it is cut in

The roll comes back from the lab weeks later and is cut as its own passage, not dropped over the digital as a filter.
